It Made the Trip and Made Me Feel BETTER!

The reason for the adventure?

KL Bird Park!!! It’s the last day of my first adventure here in Kuala Lumpur and the for the most part the holiday is kind of over. There are a few places that are still closed but the majority, I think have opened. Well, at least the Bird Park was open and I was happy! It is the biggest free-flying bird park in the world and has many EXOTIC birds, well exotic to me. It was fun to learn about new birds and to watch the bird show that took place at 12:30 in the park.

The park is a haven not only for the birds but for the daily visitors. The bird sanctuary is lush and expanse giving all those who visit a special experience to interact with birds. I liked to think that I heard all the different mating calls today especially of the peacock because I finally got to see a male spread his feathers all the way and “call out”. Very interesting. Just didn’t see what bird he was trying to “holla at”.

The bird picture that I took was the highlight of my adventure. The bird trainer/ attendant had all the fun. He put the one in my hair once he had set all the birds on my arms so I couldn’t protest. I am happy that I have the memory. it was an unexpected delight and I enjoyed the scenery.
